Contemporary Shamanism & Tribal Connection
Powered by Zoë Van Horenzeggen on behalf of TENCLUB
TENCLUB Café is an intimate evening in which we explore how our relationship with the Earth has changed over the course of centuries till this moment; from old tribal traditions to the modern world of today, times are changes. In a time where climate change and sustainability are high on the agenda, we ask for wisdom from the Tribes.
Where did we lose contact with our roots?
How do we restore the relationship between us and nature?
What can we learn from tribal cultures that still live in symbiosis with their habitat?
In this philosophical café we dive deep into the magical world of indigenous peoples and investigate contemporary connectivity. The night starts with lectures from renowned speakers and gradually slips into a rhythmic dance night calling on the spirits to join us on the dancefloor.
Humankind has not woven the web of life. We are but one thread within it. Whatever we do to the web, we do to ourselves. All things are bound together. All things connect.
– Chief Seattle, Duwamish (1780-1866)
