Built on the site of a 15th century convent, this eclectically classically Theatrum Vitae is housed within a four story private manor. The building was previously an old cigar factory in the beginning of last century named after its owner Nico Mayer who had designed and built the building for his tobacco factory.

The recently restored Mayer Manor combines turn of the century inspired interiors with provoking curiosity at every turn. The interior is adorned with antique pieces of furniture and period ornaments.

Amidst the hustle and bustle of modern day Amsterdam, you can feel elegance and old world charm flow throughout the space. Here you can find features such as hard wood floors and beams, the vintage copper bathtub, wood burning fireplace and an original record player.
